Anamarija Dodig: In permanent makeup I strive for perfection with simplicity

I thought – there are only Savich pigments left for me to try. If that's not what I strive for, I will never again invest in permanent makeup, nor any course, says Anamarija. You are reading the story of one important collaboration that had begun that way.

 

How were you introduced to the permanent makeup world? What were your beginnings like?

 

I started working with permanent makeup about ten years ago when microblading became popular. It was a huge improvement compared to the permanent makeup I had seen until then, and that looked like an old tattoo. Microblading looked much more natural and prettier. I was very excited because I didn't have to draw my eyebrows every morning anymore. I passed that excitement to my clients. 

A few months after that, I became aware that something was wrong with the pigments. The color started to turn into red or blue-grey tones. I did not like that at all. I continued with the search for something better. That's how I started working with a permanent makeup machine and pigments. Since then, in search of more natural-looking results, I attended many educations.

 

 

How did you discover Savich permanent makeup course?

 

On Instagram, I found Savich pigments and thought that it was all I always looked for. I thought – there are only Savich pigments left for me to try, and if that's not what I strive for, I will never again invest in permanent makeup, nor any course.

In permanent makeup, I strive for perfection with simplicity. For myself, I can say that I am a responsible and serious person, who always stands behind what she truly believes in. What separates Savich permanent makeup course from all the other ones you have attended?

 

Savich education is absolutely different from the rest! Hristina transfers knowledge outgivingly, she simplifies it so that anyone can easily learn. What is complicated, she makes easy to understand, and that is a great lecturer! This kind of education truly pushes you to succeed and gives you confidence. After the education, I have shortened the length of the treatments, and the results look way more natural.

 

 

Why do you choose the Savich treatments concept?

 

Savich treatmens concept is flexible and leaves you space for your own artistic development. It is different from the rest because it is not strict, doesn't promote a copy-paste way of working and it creates a personal approach to each treatment. What is extremely helpful to me is the fact that I finally work with the pigments I believe in! I like everything about Savich treatments – I love the composition of the pigments and the fact that they don't look artificial ones applied to the skin. I like that the pigment applies quickly into the skin and the treatments are fluid and don't take as much time as they used to. That's extremely exciting for both my clients and me. I love that we get beautifully healed results with minimal need for adding more color. Working with Savich pigments and techniques is a great pleasure!
